Around 2. 25 million visits are expected, with many visitors expected to come more than once. 70 per cent of visitors anticipated to come from outside the UAE, the largest proportion of international visitors in the 168-year history of World Expos.

4. Daily Events

An entertaining global celebration with something for everyone, Expo 2020 will wow visitors with 60 daily events across 173 days, showcasing the best of music, technology, creativity and culture, while 200 F&B outlets will feature famous chefs and cuisine from every corner of the world.

5. Innovations and breakthroughs

Expo 2020 will be an endless journey of discovery. Visitors will have access to the latest innovations and breakthroughs, with more than 200 participants — including 192 nations, multilateral organizations, businesses and educational institutions — coming together to highlight real-life solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

 

6. How to reach Expo 2020 site

If you are coming by car somewhere from the Downtown Dubai, it may take you around 45 minutes to arrive at the Expo 2020 site.

7. Dates and timing of Expo 2020

The Expo will kick off on October 20, 2020 and will end on April 10, 2021.

8. Sub Themes

9. Location and Area

The first World Expo to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) will be located on a 4.38sqkm site adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South.

11. Expo 2020 ticket price?

A ticket for people over age of 18 will cost Dhs120. The price of Expo 2020 ticket, which will be valid for three days is Dhs260. Entry for the children below age of 5 and senior citizens above the age of 65 is free.

12. Discount for Students?

Students will get 50 per cent discount on Expo 2020 tickets. Differently-abled persons’ entry will also be free.

13. UAE pavilion

The United Arab Emirates will have its own pavilion designed by Santiago Calatrava.
