Is the Crypto Bear Market Ending? Why Dogecoin Could Rally Soon

Crypto markets are showing early signs of shaking off the bear’s grip, and Dogecoin could be next in line for a surge. Bitcoin has edged past $61,000, while altcoins like Ethereum and XRP are gaining momentum—could this be the start of something bigger?

Why the Mood Is Shifting in Crypto Markets

Bitcoin recently broke through the $61,000 barrier, hitting $61,400 before settling just below. Ethereum nudged into the mid $16,000s, while XRP and Dogecoin also registered notable gains. This uptick comes as Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh signaled inflation levels are still too high, rattling stock markets but oddly boosting crypto’s allure.

Data reveals over $450 million was liquidated in the crypto market within 24 hours, wiping out $279 million in short positions. This shakeout has many speculating that fatigue and selling pressure may be easing, setting the stage for a turnaround.

Could Bitcoin’s Cycle Signal the Bear Market’s End?

Looking back reveals a curious similarity: the current bear market started around October-November and bottomed in June—mirroring the 2021–2022 downcycle exactly. While this resemblance doesn’t guarantee a replay, past trends show Bitcoin typically moves into an accumulation phase after such a drop, trading sideways before beginning a gradual climb.

During the last cycle, Bitcoin soared from $15,000 to roughly $126,000 within a year—a nearly 10x jump. If this pattern holds, the crypto market is at or near its bottom, with a promising accumulation phase underway. Of course, surpassing previous gains won’t be easy; it will likely need a surge in institutional investment to push prices much higher from today’s more advanced levels.

What This Means for Dogecoin and Speculative Altcoins

Dogecoin, long known as a meme coin riding on waves of market emotion, thrives during periods of extreme greed—something the crypto space has largely lacked since 2024. If inflation fears diminish and confidence returns, Dogecoin could outpace even Bitcoin or Ethereum in gains during the next bull run.

While speculative and volatile, these coins have shown they can move fast when the market’s sentiment shifts. Diversifying a crypto portfolio and accumulating during this phase, especially with promising projects like Bitcoin Hyper on the rise, might position investors well if the market holds to past rhythms.

Whether the crypto bear market is definitively over remains to be seen. But the charts and recent trading activity suggest that accumulation and opportunity might be kicking in sooner rather than later—possibly bringing Dogecoin along for the ride.
